I happen to head to the Apple Store at least once a week – not that I spend something every single time I’m there but pretty darn close.

But I was on a two-part mission, the first being to get some necessary pieces of software and hardware for my mother who is the last person in my family of 7 to convert to Apple-powered products.

My father, who was the most difficult to convert, was really the last stronghold that I had to crack – my mother was a simple phone call and she said “Yes” – so now I’ve got to set up the package and ship it out to her.

The second part of my mission was to take a look at those sweet new 27″ iMacs that I had yet to experience:

Yikes. So good. So beautiful. And WP Daily doesn’t look too bad either.

I’m not sure I’ll be getting one anytime soon (I just sold my new Retina MacBook Pro) but I can dream, can’t I?
