If I understand this correctly then ThemeDemo.co is offering opportunities for you to create private instances of your own theme (if you’re a theme company or theme provider) to potential buyers.

So, instead of viewing just the front-end of the demo the potential customer will be able to jump into the back-end as well and experience the theme from the admin level, right?

And, after a certain number of hours the theme instance will be removed / disabled, giving the potential buyer a nice notice and then an opportunity to connect directly to the seller for feedback or perhaps even a purchase. I would imagine then ThemeDemo.co takes an affiliate cut (or a static percentage of sale?).

Sounds simple enough. But what’s stopping the actual theme shop of creating this themselves? CMS demo sites have been around for a long time with expiration timers using such simple user credentials as test/test or demo/demo. It wouldn’t be hard to spin this up yourself if you wanted, right?

There might be a market for a ThemeDemo.co (hey, we like the .co extension too – good on you bro) but it’s not incredibly unique. I wonder what the larger plans are for the site, if there are any.
