I’m so excited about WordCamp US in September. Like many of you, I haven’t been to a WordCamp in years, so I thought I’d share some travel advice for San Diego.

Did you know The San Diego Zoo is only an 8 minute drive from this year’s WordCamp US location? The San Diego Zoo is one of three zoos in the United States that has giant pandas. That got me thinking about a Wapuu/giant panda mashup.
Generative text-to-image tools, like Dalle-2 and Midjourney, are all the rage this summer. I used an AI tool called Craiyon to generate an image based on the prompt “WordPress mascot” and then redrew the results in a more consistent style. Here are the results:
