WordPress is on the warpath as we’ve just celebrated it’s 10th Anniversary and looking to put in another 10 years under it’s belt as we move forward into the future. And the future is very, very bright – much brighter than some of its so-called competitors, like Drupal, Joomla, and Blogger to name a few. Take a look at a visual history, courtesy of WPThemes:

Great timing too as it’s going to be difficult to forget when the proposal was officially as it’s so close to WordPress’ own birthday. If you’re a guy then you know this as it can be incredibly tough to remember particular and important dates! Congrats to Daniel Bachhuber who proposed at a Rodeo this past Sunday! Wow, did you survive yesterday? There were apparently 646 cities that participated with nearly 5,000 people having a great time, all in the name of WordPress! The WP10 Site was rockin’ all night on one of our flat-panels in our office at our party here in Atlanta and it was neat to see shots from all over the world from our amazing community! You knew this already though, right? Many of us spend an incredible time helping our clients make the very best decisions when it comes to their business. This is addition to the work that we do designing and developing their properties. But sometimes we can get to a point where our clients are becoming ever-increasing sinkholes of time and our profits. It’s time we win back our hard-earned dollars and not overshoot. The 10th Anniversary Party for WordPress has already kicked up into high gear as people from all over the world are celebrating in their own unique way – over 670 parties worldwide! And there is one site to rule them all:

Matt Mullenweg is everywhere as he’s not only one of the founders of WordPress but also the leader of the largest WordPress commercial business, Automattic. But he was just one of the founders of WordPress, the other being Mike Little, who doesn’t get as much press time as he deserves.
